Meet Our Team
Friendly, experienced podiatrists who genuinely care about getting you back to doing what you love.
Caitlen Baldock
Senior Podiatrist & Director
Caitlen is the founder of Peregian Foot Clinic and a highly experienced podiatrist with over 10 years of clinical practice. Holding a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Podiatric Practice, she is experienced and confident across all areas of podiatry — with particular expertise in sports injuries and foot pain, ethical orthotic prescription, injury rehabilitation and children’s podiatry.
Caitlen has served as a Clinical Educator at La Trobe University, mentoring and shaping the next generation of podiatrists — a role that reflects both her depth of knowledge and her standing within the profession.
She is deeply committed to ongoing professional development, attending regular conferences to stay at the forefront of musculoskeletal, sports and paediatric podiatry. Caitlen is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association (APodA) and Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australasia (SEPA), and is part of the Paediatric Podiatry Australia special interest group within APodA — reflecting her dedication to children’s lower limb health.
Her approach is holistic and personalised, focused on identifying the root cause of each problem and building treatment plans designed for real, lasting results — getting patients back to doing what they love. She is passionate about providing high quality healthcare and is genuinely invested in helping people meet their goals. Her approach to paediatric podiatry is thorough, ethical and family and child centred - always.
Caitlen lives in Peregian Beach and is a mum of two. Her weekends are spent outdoors with her family — at the beach or on some kind of active adventure. A lover of all things sport, exercise and the outdoors, she knows first-hand how much an active lifestyle matters — and it’s exactly why she’s so passionate about helping her patients maintain theirs.
Sarah Mewburn
Sarah is a passionate and experienced podiatrist with a genuine love for keeping people doing what they enjoy — whether that’s competitive sport, staying fit, or simply living pain-free to enjoy the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.
With over 10 years of clinical experience and a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) from Charles Sturt University, Sarah specialises in sports podiatry and musculoskeletal care. She has a particular interest in the biomechanics of movement and works closely with runners, swimmers, triathletes and surfers — helping them prevent injury, recover well, and stay in training rather than on the sidelines. Her approach blends hands-on treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation, always focused on getting patients back to doing what they love.
Skilled in gait analysis, dry needling, Foot Mobilisation Therapy (FMT), proprioceptive training, orthotic therapy and lower limb strength and conditioning, Sarah builds structured, personalised treatment plans focused on real and lasting outcomes. She is equally passionate about paediatric gait assessment, supporting families with biomechanical concerns and managing children’s lower limb pathologies.
Sarah holds extensive experience in ingrown nail management, offering both conservative care and surgical treatment, having previously worked at a dedicated ingrown toenail clinic in Canberra. When it comes to skin conditions, Sarah goes beyond the surface — identifying and addressing the underlying biomechanical causes.
A member of Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australasia (SEPA), Sarah is committed to ongoing professional development and delivering the best of current practice to every patient she sees.
Originally from Victoria, Sarah made the move to the Sunshine Coast four years ago and hasn’t looked back. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her freediving, open water swimming, running or volunteering with surf lifesaving — living the active lifestyle she helps her patients pursue every day.
